I’m your 2019 ANTSO National Jr. Sweetheart, Aspen Golter! I live in Nebraska, where I am a freshman at North Platte High. Some of my favorite things to do include dancing, singing, painting, or practicing Special Effects makeup. I love hanging out with friends and family, and I am an avid online shopper.

Besides being a busy teenager and national queen, I also am the president and founder of a youth advocacy group called Lincoln County Youth Leaders. Our job in our community is to help prevent substance abuse. We do this in all sorts of ways including, rallies, parades, and volunteer work in our community.  One of my favorite activities that happens in this group is the annual Annual Youth Advocacy Summer Camp. We get to educate kids in grades 6th-8th on the effects and consequences of substance abuse, as well as ways to prevent it. Not only do these kids get to learn about substance abuse and news surrounding the subject, they get to help their community. Through this summer camp, the kids get to participate in an activity called Sticker Shock, which is an activity where we go out to our local gas stations and, with permission from the store owners, place informative stickers on the boxes of alcohol stating the dangers of misuse.

My goals for the next few years are to graduate high school, attend Juilliard in New York, and graduate with a degree in performing arts. Then I plan to pursue my dream in acting and modeling! During my reign as your 2019 ANTSO National Jr. Sweetheart, I plan to travel across the country to inform audiences about ANTSO, as well as promote community service among youth and continue advocating for Lincoln County Youth Leaders.
