Testimonials

Dear Jenny and Participants of ANTSO,

Please accept this thank you on behalf of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee for your generous donation of school supplies for our Club Members. We were overwhelmed by your generosity and the diversity of products sent! All will be of great use to our members at school and when working on homework at the club. You all know the importance of a great education through your involvement in America’s National Teenager. Your school supply donations lets each of our members know that you support them as they strive to do well academically also. Your donation facilitates our mission to "enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

Each day hundreds of youth in our neighborhoods turn to the Clubs for help. When you support our programs, you make a difference in the lives of the children we serve.

Your investment in our community’s young people is an investment in the future of Middle Tennessee. We deeply appreciate your support. On behalf of the family of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee, thank you.

Sincerely,

Dan Jernigan

Dear ANTSO,

On behalf of our student committee, we would like to extend our gratitude for your generous contribution to our Annual Bear Fair at West Chester University.  Your bears not only put smiles on the our faces, but on the faces of children in hospitals all around the Philadelphia area.  To see the personal notes attached from all your state queens goes above and beyond our wishes!  We really appreciate your support and generosity.

Jenny-

It is such an honor to be your new Miss Jr. National Teenager.  The Nationals were so amazing and everyone had so much fun!  I can’t wait to do more community work and promotion of this organization.  I would love to get as many girls involved as I can.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you as a new titleholder.  I can’t wait to work with you this year.

Michelle Robichaud
Miss Jr. National Teenager 2011

Dear Jenny,

I would like to thank you for providing me such an unforgettable experience at your National Pageant in Philadelphia!  My mom and I had a blast at the River Cruise and Bingo Night.  I will always remember the excitement and fun times during all the competitions and rehearsals with Michael and all the sister queens.  At ANTSO, it's fun party time every day!  I didn't feel like in a pageant.  Making it to Top 5 and hearing my name as 3rd runner-up were the highlights of the week.  I will treasure and learn from this experience and make most of my year.  I am continuing my volunteer services and public appearances in promoting ANTSO.  I also look forward to enjoying the trips and visiting state pageants.  It's so wonderful and an honor being your ANTSO family!

Love,
Emily Michelle Honng
2010 Miss California Preteen National Teenager

Hi Jenny,

Just wanted to send a quick note of thanks for a great week and an experience neither Mackenzie nor myself will ever forget.  Mackenzie is looking forward to someday returning to the National Teenager system to compete again as a Senior.  For being one of the younger girls in her category, I was so proud of her.  She not only accomplished her goal of making top 12 and she made friends that she will continue to chat with for years!  Again, my sincere thanks!

Tracy Olson, mother of Miss NJ Preteen

Dear Jenny, Michael and Staff,

Thank you so much for a wonderful week.  To be honest, it was the best decision entering the ANTSO family.  This was my first trip to a national pageant and making the top 12 was a bonus!  I look forward to continuing my work with the Boys and Girls Club.  Once again, thank you both for such a great week and memories that will last a lifetime.  I hope I can return and see everyone in Miami!

Paige Lavallee, Miss RI Jr. National Teenager 2010

Dear ANTSO,
We have much to be thankful for here at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and are particularly grateful for your thoughtfulness and wonderful donation of activity bags.  Support such as this makes our children’s stay much brighter and we see this by the many smiles on their faces.  On behalf of the patient’s families and our staff, we want to thank you again for your generous donation.

Sincerely,
Stephanie Van Dyke, Director Volunteer Services, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Nashville

Jenny,
I really wanted to say what a wonderful pageant week we all had.  The Sweetheart program is really awesome and the girls feel just as special as if they were the state overall winners.  Thank you for the memories that will last the girls a lifetime.

Blessings,
Michelle Sigmon, Mother of Sydney Sigmon, Miss NC Preteen Sweetheart 2009

Jenny,
A year goes by faster than you think!  But WOW…this year has been great.  I’ve learned so much, helped out so many, gained so much and it’s all due to this organization.  You’ve been a joy to work with.  I hope we will stay in touch!  Thank you for all you’ve done.  I know my reign is officially over, but I will continue to promote the ideals of the program as I stay busy volunteering with the organizations I worked with all year.  I’m proud to be part of the ANTSO family and have you in my life!

Thanks again for everything!

Riana Cerceo, Miss Jr. National Teenager 2009

Dear ANTSO staff,
Thank you for all the hard work you put into Nationals week!  It was so wonderful to dance, see and do!

Best wishes,
Lauren Slamb, Miss Ohio Preteen National Teenager 2009

Dear Jenny,
I wanted to let you know Lauren was offered full ride scholarships to Tulane, Emory and Vanderbilt Universities.  All of these schools required personal interviews and she frequently thanks ANTSO for preparing her so well to be able to be comfortable meeting new people in an interview situation.  Most of these scholarships were made available to her based on the amount and depth of community service she had done in high school…and again, ANTSO opened so many doors in this area as well.  I think so fondly of the amazing people who have been through your program.  Again, thank you for a wonderful experience.

Jacquelyn Pyle, Lauren Pyle’s mom, Miss IL National Teenager 2007

Dear Jenny and National Staff,
I needed to write to you to tell you that I had the most AMAZNG time in Nashville last week!  The contestants, staff and show itself was just wonderful and I feel so blessed that I was able to participate.  Although I didn’t win the title, and I wasn’t a finalist, last week was a week to remember.  I can’t wait to hear about all the adventures coming in the next year for ANTSO.  Thank you again!

Jennifer Maloney, MA National Miss 2009

Dear Jenny,
I just want to thank you for all you have done this past year and thank you for creating the ANTSO Miss division.  ANTSO is by far the best pageant I have ever competed in, and I know I will be talking about my experience with ANTSO for years to come.  It was such an honor to compete in a pageant that is held in such high esteem.  Thank you again!

Amanda Garcia, Miss CA ANTSO National Miss 2008

Jenny,
Thank you so very much!  You are amazing at everything you do!  You are an inspiration as you put your all into all you do!  We are so glad to have been a part of this system!  This organization has impacted our lives in such great ways!

CA Queens 2008

Jenny,
You always amaze me!  You are truly superwoman!  I have such a wonderful mentor!  Thank you for all my years through the pageant world.  You helped shape me into who I am today.

Love you!
Jenna Wetherholt, TN National Miss 2008

Dear Ms. Jenny and Staff,
Thank you so much for a great first pageant experience.  I had fun and made friends that will last a lifetime.  I am getting so excited about nationals.  It will be a blast.  Thanks to this program, I will continue my pageantry career, but there will never be a better system than ANTSO because of the amazing people who run it.  And lastly, thank you for always answering my questions and being so kind, even though you have a thousand things to do.  Thank you so much for everything!

Kristen Perry, Miss TN Preteen National Teenager 2009

Hi Jenny,
I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all that you have done during my many years of pageantry with America’s National Teenager. In May, I gave up my title, but I will always be Miss Pennsylvania in my heart.  I have learned so much through your organization that no high school could have taught me. Yes, I admit spending so hours with your organization took away from some of my high school opportunities, but my dedication to your program paid off. I now have a complete network of friends from your system.  I will become a communications major at Hofstra University.  I have learned to give of myself and to others, and let’s not forget the extensive wardrobe I have from shorts to evening gowns.  I have learned to “walk the walk” and “talk the talk” of a pageant girl …something that has given me great confidence. If you ever get down and feel like you can’t go on or this type of business is not for you, just watch my CD and see what I have become with the encouragement of America’s National Teenager.  I owe you so much.

Thank you for everything,
Rianna Polin, Miss Pennsylvania National Teenager 2009

Dear Jenny,
We want to thank you for providing our daughter, Kelly, the opportunity to participate in state pageants as a visiting queen. As an at-large contestant from NY, it is clear she that not only has she truly benefited from these experiences, but she (and we as parents!) had a wonderful time visiting state pageants and making appearances.  Having had the opportunity to meet some staff from the National Office, particularly you and Michael Hartman, has made us even more excited for nationals!

Although we have not been involved with the National Teenager Organization long, we have a  sense that as CEO, you probably appreciate hearing specific positive feedback about your program.  We thank you again, Jenny, for this wonderful opportunity.

Gratefully yours,
Sharon and Richard Hoffman, parents of Miss NY National Teenager 2009

Jenny,
You are the fairest of them all!  Congratulations on a successful event!

Sue Ann Hemphill, Experient Inc.

Jenny,
I absolutely could not have asked for a more dedicated director!  You are such a wonderful role model to all of us girls.  Thank you for making this an outstanding year for me!  I will never forget my year as one of your national queens!

Love you!
Rachel Lindsay, Miss National Sweetheart 2009

Miss Jenny,
Thank you for everything! This is a great program!

Kyrstin Marshall, Miss Alaska Preteen National Sweetheart

Jenny,
You are a real sunshine maker!

Thanks for nationals,
Joan Kaminski, Miss WI State Director

Jenny,
Thank you so much for bringing ANTSO back to MN and for all that you do.  You have changed my life forever.  You truly are an amazing woman!

Ashley Wermerskirchen, Miss MN National Teenager 2009

Jenny,
Thank you so much for the privilege of judging and choosing your next Preteen National Teenager!  I knew it would be a difficult task, but I never anticipated that working with such a distinguished panel of judges would be so much fun!  Also, congratulations on all of the changes you have instituted for 2010.  Its very exciting to see the bold direction ANTSO is headed in and I am looking forward to the ride!

Lisa Waters, Preteen National Teenager Judge

Jenny,
Thank you for awarding me the title of Miss ND Jr. National Teenager!  I loved the national pageant and appreciate all your hard work!  I can’t wait for all the trips!

Love,
Cara Mund, Miss North Dakota Jr. National Teenager 2009

Dear Jenny,
I wanted to thank you so much for all the hard work that went into making ANTSO such a great experience!  Nationals week was so much fun and full of great opportunities for all of us!  I felt extremely fortunate to have met so many genuinely nice girls from my division and to have made several friendships that I know will last a lifetime.  I truly appreciate everything you have done and am so grateful for the opportunity to represent my state as the 2009 Miss New York!

Love,
Kelly Hoffman, Miss NY National Teenager 2009

Jenny,
I wanted to take a minute and let the ANTSO organization know what a great director they have here in Oregon. Todd Dohnal has done so much for the Oregon Queens, and it was so appreciated! He showed up to all the girls appearances and encouraged them throughout the year with phone calls, emails, etc. My daughter used to be extremely shy but this program has given her self-confidence that every one of her teachers has noticed this past year. As a family, we do believe in the ANTSO organization and all those who work so hard for the girls. ANTSO really is a family and its not like any other organization I have ever seen. We appreciate everyone that is involved and thank you for all you do.

Julie Liggins, Mother of Oregon 2010 titleholder

Jenny,
I want to thank you for everything. Morgan and I had a really wonderful experience. She gained so much knowledge, made so many friends and had such great experiences. This will stay with her forever. I appreciate all the organization and planning that went into it. I plan several events here at home and know it is not easy. We really liked how you added the Philadelphia Zoo, Liberty Museum, Spirit Of Philadelphia Cruise, etc to the week. All were fun and memorable!

All the girls were super sweet and I truly believe they are the best of the best! The productions were amazing. I was totally impressed! We are proud to be a part of the ANTSO family and Morgan will continue her appearances and promote the program here in Michigan. We love ANTSO!

Thanks again,
Linda Purvis (mother of Morgan Purvis, Miss MI Jr. National Teenager 2010)

Miss Jenny and ANTSO Staff,
Thank you so much for giving all of us girls an amazing week! I had one of the best weeks of my life! I made new friends and lots of memories. Everything we did last week was amazing and I know you work so hard to plan everything! It was great! See you soon,

Christina Polanco, Miss MA Jr. National Teenager 2010

Hi Jenny,
Haley had a great time in PA and her only goal was to do well in talent and with her "win" she came home a very very happy girl. Our experience at nationals was so amazing and fun I am so glad Haley had that opportunity. She made several new friends and with the magic of "facebook" she is still able to keep those friendships alive and well. Nationals was fun, enjoyable for us moms and our girls showed grace and determination during the week of competition. We look back on that time with smiles and fond memories.

Happy New Year!
Trisha Downey

Thank you Jenny!
Thank you for the time and energy that you and your staff invest in helping young girls develop themselves. We know that at times it is difficult and challenging doing all that you do, but we want you to know that there are parents and their daughters that appreciate and love you for what you do. We had a wonderful time at nationals and know that we will never forget our experience.

May you have a wonderful Christmas and a blessed new year.
Teresa Dahdouh

Hi Jenny,
Mackenzie had a blast at Nationals and I want to thank you for all the hard work it took to make it happen for the girls. Your staff is the BEST!

Cindy Van Den Bogart, mother to Miss NJ Jr. Sweetheart

Hi Jenny,
First of all, thank you so much for a wonderful week and pageant experience. You definitely put on a great show and we hope to be back in the future.

Thank you so much,
Kim Boswell, mother of IN Preteen 2010

Jenny,
Thank you again for a wonderful week in Philadelphia. Sydney had an amazing time, she said she met some of the nicest girls ever and learned a lot about herself during the week we were there. She and I both will work hard on promoting Americas National Teenager as I think its a program that everyone, especially here in the west needs to know about! I can honestly say that your program is op notch and you should be very proud of all the hard work you do. I was really impressed with the production numbers and shows. Mr. Mike is the best! Those dances were Miss America level productions, something I have never seen at this age level. Again, thank you for all the fun, special events, shows and fantastic week. We had a great time!

Thank you!
Joyce Nelson, Miss OR National Teenagerís mom

Thank you so much for a wonderful week and pageant experience. You definitely put on a great show and we hope to be back in the future!

Kim Boswell, Mother of Lauren Boswell, Miss IN Preteen 2010

Hi Jenny!
I just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to judge the Americas Preteen Sweetheart Program. I had a great time! What an amazing group of young girls! A story I hope youll enjoy.

I competed in the NJ National Teenager Senior Division in 1992. I received information thru the mail and approached my mother who told me if I could raise the money, I could go. (Later she told me she never expected me to actually raise the money!) I took an after school job, worked hours in addition at my aunts travel agency and wrote letters asking for sponsorship. I skipped my prom, and my parents drove me to Northern NJ for the pageant. I placed in the Top Ten and won the scrapbook award.

I have since enjoyed judging all kinds of pageants but was so honored (and excited) to be involved in the National pageant as a judge this year. This system held memories for me! But this year, it meant just a little bit more.

During the pageant in 1992, fathers escorted us on stage for the Evening Gown Competition, so of course, my father walked with me. Well, my father passed away last year suddenly due to a fall and embolism. Sitting at your pageant, I remembered what a nice moment we shared during the pageant in 1992. It is so nice to have a memory like that with him, and I have the National Teenager Pageant to thank for that.

Thank you for continuing to give young women a chance to advance their education, service and personal goals. Your efforts and production are to be commended. I will always be willing to help or be a part of your pageant

Thanks again for a great weekend,
Deborah Pruitt, Soprano
Royal Caribbean International, Vocal Director
